AVC started as a referral clinic, offering advanced diagnostics and care. At its inception in 2006, it worked closely with shelters and rescue and in 2010 formed its own rescue (All Better Pets) for pets with serious medical conditions surrendered in the ER.
AVC is open 24/7. The quarantine area of the building is housed in the same facility as the ER and general clinic, although in a separate area to contain contagious disease (mostly respiratory and sometimes more serious disease). There is a doctor and veterinary technician in the building at all times. Diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, in-house blood work, CT scan and MRI. We are fully equipped to deal with any emergency.
